The Eighth Season....

We...wait!...I'M, excited to enter this new season with all of you...I have lots of good, new product to share and this year I will be shedding some light on the industry for all of the wondering minds out there. I have had my share of business ups and downs, but I've figured out how to make money in the bike world AND live a free, untethered life that allows me to create, soothe and exercise my free will....hang on, it will be worth your time!

After

Before

Here's a custom build we we did last week for a good customer of ours. He wanted to get his old single speed cruiser and make it a three speed. He tends to ride this a bunch so we completely built a new set of wheels. We used a nice and light set of aluminum rims (his old set was steel) to get the wheel to spin up faster. For the hubs we used the Sturmey Archer XD series with sealed bearings and a drum brake both front and rear. Spokes are 14g DT Swiss with black brass nipples to keep them not only looking good, but nice and strong too. We kept with the black and natural finish color scheme and eliminated the vintage whitewall looking tires. We went from a 2.125 tire to a huge 2.4 and it rides just amazing!

My sons 1972 Libertas 24" Wheel Road Bike

I bought this a few years ago from the original owner here in Denver. He said that he and his son put many of miles on this (and his adult Libertas) in the 1970's. My son (an old soul) saw this and just had to have it. He even passed up a Felt F24 for it and told me he wanted to keep the Libertas for the rest of his life. So don't expect to see this one on eBay anytime soon. And of course he took my perforated, titanium Selle Italia Flite saddle that I bought in 1991 for his new rig...I tell ya, those old souls really get it!!

1974 Raleigh Wayfarer

Here's a 1974 Raleigh Wayfarer that's in amazing condition for it's age. Just about everyone that walks into the shop comments on how nice it is. The bike has a 3 speed Sturmey Archer that shifts like butter!
